The last act of DIG

One of the last acts of the very successful DIG project will be repairing the kick about pitch (former bowling green) in front of Abbeyfield House.

The plan, agreed by the Council parks department, includes removing the old concrete and stone hard-standing, rebuilding the dry stone wall, contouring the perimeter of the old green and repairing the grass in and around the play area.

Friends of Abbeyfield Park are contributing towards making this and Environment Day happen. A big thank you to them.
