Introduction to Community Health and Development courses

The Furnival is running its second Introduction to Community Health and Development (ICDH) course starting in October 2008.

Our trainers, Andy Stockton and Helen Browne, will be running two taster sessions on 25 September 2008 and 4 October 2008, 10am-1pm. The taster sessions are free (as is the course) and are a great way to find out more about ICDH. A buffet lunch will also be served.

If you want to learn about health issues, work with your community, or develop your skills and qualifications, this course is for you. Course materials, childcare, and travel expenses are covered, and you can gain OCN accreditation levels 1-3. The course itself lasts fourteen weeks, with sessions held once a week from Thursday 9 October 2008 to 5 February 2009.

All sessions take place at The Furnival, 199 Verdon Street, Burngreave, Sheffield, S3 9QQ. If you would like to register or find out more, please give us a call on 0114 272 7497.

Delivered by Furnival Burngreave Community Projects in partnership with NHS Sheffield Primary Care Trust. Funded by Church Urban Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.
