Messenger training courses

The Messenger is running two courses starting in October to help you get more involved.

Website training course

Friday mornings: 17th, 24th October and 7th, 14th November.

  • earn to add content to the Messenger website.

  • Add text, images and links.

  • Gain experience of content management software.

No previous experience necessary.

Writing for the Messenger

Monday evenings: 13th, 20th October and 3rd, 10th November.

The course is designed to give you the skills and confidence to be able to:

  • Attend an event and write about what happened

  • Cover a news story

  • Interview someone for the Messenger
