Job: Part-Time Temporary Family Advocacy Officer

Supporting Burngreave children and families to ensure better attainment in school. The purpose of this post is to deliver activity to targeted children and families to ensure that those children achieve their potential in school. This post forms part of the Family Advocacy Team which is a major component of the ‘Advancing Together’ Programme which is partly funded by Burngreave New Deal for Communities. This will be a job share with an existing officer at Firs Hill Primary School.

We particularly welcome applications from ethnic minority communities as they are underrepresented in this area of work: Section 38(1)b of the Race Relations Act 1976 applies.

The candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of The Police Act 1997.
