Anti gun and knife crime.

Event at Nottingham Rec

Streetworx and Sheffield Young Advisors have organised an event for all this Saturday 12-4pm.

“He who plants a tree plants hope”

One feature of the event is to plant some “specimen” trees – carefully chosen for the occasion and the place. Burngreave's new Community Forester, Leonie Kapadia, (taking over from Tim Shortland) is organising the planting of:

  • Eucalyptus Perriniana

  • Eucalyptus Gunnii

  • Indian Bean Tree

and she's inviting residents to come along, see what they look like and get stuck in with planting them.
