New Deal Investigation

End to debate is in sight

Over the last five months, there has been a lot of comment and controversy over Burngreave New Deal’s management, governance and how it accounts to the community it serves. It was taken up by the Sheffield Star and by the City Council, which decided to investigate. The change in control of the Council at May’s elections added a twist. Finally, though, matters seem to be coming to a resolution with New Deal announcing the intention to make their Chief Executive, John Clark, redundant.
