Dads, bring your children for a morning of storytelling and reading. Record a story onto a CD and take it home to play to your children when you're not there.
This is a free family learning event aimed at fathers/male carers and their children, up to age 5. on Wednesday 23rd July 2008, 10am – 12 noon at Burngreave Library.
Share stories that you remember as children, classics and those passed down through oral tradition with other fathers and children.
There will be toys and craft activities available as well as refreshments and snacks.
Fathers can also take this opportunity to record their favourite story or stories onto CD either on the day or at a later date. Once produced, the CD can be taken home to be played to the children whenever Dad is not around.
