Parkwood School Social Cohesion Conference

Sheffield Hilton Hotel – Friday 11th July

Parkwood School supports children from a range of areas, including Pye Bank, in Burngreave, where there are families from a range of cultures including many Somali, Pakistani and Yemeni families as well as white British and Caribbean families. The school also supports families from Shirecliffe and Southey Green where there are mainly white British families.

Parkwood School is organising this conference to look at how the school can work with other services and people in the community to support different communities to work together and get on well together, both in the school and in the wider community.

The conference hopes to attract key decision-makers and give young people from different backgrounds a chance to influence that decision-making.

If you would like to attend the conference, contact Headteacher Chris Mallaband on 231 0221/2.
