Wildflowers galore

For the third year the stewards have prepared the ground in front of the new cricket pitch in Abbeyfield Park and sown the area with wildflower seeds. The last 2 years has seen this area literally blossom to the benefit of park users and encouraging greater biodiversity. These should be in full bloom by the time of the 10th Abbeyfield Park Multicultural Festival on 13th July. We are still recruiting volunteers to help make the anniversary festival run smoothly so get in touch if you could help in the run up or on the day.
