Supporting Burngreave children and their families – to ensure better attainment in school.
You will join a team of officers who will work with the team Co-ordinator to deliver activity to a targeted group of children to ensure those children achieve their potential at school. The team will work on a casework basis using the city’s Integrated Practice arrangements for multi-agency casework.
Whilst being based in school, the officers will also undertake home visits, liaison with non-school organisations and work as part of the wider Multi-Agency Support Team for the Service District. The Officer posts and the Co-ordinator role which forms the Family Advocacy Team is a major component of the ‘Advancing Together’ Programme which is partly funded by Burngreave New Deal for Communities.

The successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Record Bureau disclosure form in line with Section 115 of The Police Act 1997
