My name is Jerone Blake

Jerone Blake

I’m from Pitsmoor Burngreave, I have lived in the area for 19 years. I got involved with the project through volunteering and participating in activities put on by Burngreave Streetworx. Before this opportunity came about I was a security guard for Ace Securities Ltd.

There needs to be more positive role models for young people and more hope and future for young people. My hopes for the future are to find more positive young achievers to carry on the work. The qualities that make me a good role model for young people are that I’m outgoing, I’m good at listening to other people’s thoughts and I’m good at interacting with people of all ages and I’ve always been my own person.
