17.5 hours p.w. (fixed term to 31st July 2009)
Salary starting at £7,099 (£14,197 pro rata)
As the Furnival Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of health and safety, and ensuring that the building is in a good state of repair, and a welcoming place for the community.
You will be involved in communicating with staff, users, and suppliers, performing regular checks, taking room bookings, and minor repair and maintenance work.
The Furnival
The Furnival is a community centre based in Burngreave. We run the Cellar Space for young people at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, a range of health and wellbeing activities, and hire out rooms to local groups and individuals.
We aim to be a welcoming place, a safe and trusted part of the community, and somewhere that responds to the needs of those around us, especially those most disadvantaged in today’s society.
