The Phoenix Music Club, based at The Companions Club, Barnsley Road, took flight in style on 5th June and 3rd July with two evenings of folk and roots music, song, dance and stories from all over the world. Phoenix prides itself on promoting local artists alongside international ones, and it's inspiring to see what diverse talent we have here on our doorstep.
The atmosphere at a Phoenix event is welcoming and exciting. The aim is to give everyone something they know and love, something new, and something to dance to. Enthusiastic feedback from punters confirms Phoenix passed this test with flying colours.
