A public meeting will take place on Monday 28th April 2008 to discuss the expansion of St Catherine’s School and the issues surrounding it. The meeting is intended as a forum for local residents to voice their concerns.
It was decided that a meeting should take place following a request from a residents at the Firshill TARA general meeting earlier in April. The meeting will allow further consultation with local people and discuss the detail of the plans.
The meeting is being arranged by Burngreave Area Panel, and local councillors will be present, as well as representatives from Firshill TARA and the school itself. The architects and planners will also be at the meeting to answer questions.
It will take place at Roe Lane Community Centre and will start at 6.30pm. All local people, particularly those affected by the expansion, are being encouraged to attend.
