Local recycling banks that we've been asking for over the last five years have finally appeared on the Roe Lane Community Centre car park, (on Firshill Crescent).
“They are already proving very popular with residents”, says Sheila of Firshill TARA, who requested them at a Firvale Friday meeting a few months ago.
Clothing, plastics, cans, mixed glass, paper and card can all be recycled there.
