The Burngreave Messenger is holding its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM):
11am, Saturday 10th November 2007.
Upstairs at the Vestry Hall.
Food and refreshments will be available on the day.
Everyone welcome.
Through articles and adverts the Messenger has kept residents informed about local news, activities and opportunities – celebrating good things and highlighting concerns.
After seven years we hold firm to the idea that a community newspaper can empower residents and help bring our community together.
The AGM is a chance to review all we have done in the last year, and to see if we are achieving our aim of being the Voice of the Burngreave Community.
The Future
The Messenger faces a significant challenge in the coming months as our funding is only secured until March next year. We are currently seeking further funding and sponsorship. We will be discussing our plans at the AGM.
