Story: Tim Shortland
Burngreave Community Forestry working in partnership with Green City Action is planting four heavy standard mountain ash street trees to celebrate National Tree Week.
This is a continuation of last season's planting in tree pavement pockets in Page Hall with the community association and offers a wonderful opportunity to bring greenery and wildlife into the estate. The tree species are selected carefully in order to minimise root damage and shade to properties whilst offering the benefits of spring blossom, autumn colour and small bright berries.
We would like to invite you to join us at the top of Popple St on:
Friday 30th November, 10.30am
For more information about the tree planting please call Tim on telephone: 0114 2734190 or email: tim.shortland@sheffield.gov.uk
