Phone Aid for football

The Burngreave Community Football Project is taking part in the FoneAid mobile phone recycling campaign to raise funds for football kits for new teams in the Burngreave Area.

By donating your mobile phone of any age and condition, even with missing batteries, FoneAid will give £3 per phone to the football project plus an extra £100 of vouchers for every 100 phones collected. Even if the phones don't work and are in poor condition, FoneAid will still donate £3 for every single one of them. FoneAid also guarantee that every phone is either reused in developing countries or recycled, so 100% of the phones collected are diverted from landfill sites where they can cause serious environmental problems.

With around 100 million old and unused mobile phones lying around homes in the UK and no cost to take part, why don't you help the project and start collecting today?

For more information or to donate your old phones please contact Steve Richardson on 07810 685 519 or drop them in at Carbrook block 3A or Verdon Recreation Centre.
