Help for business affected by the recent floods

A package of support has been announced for businesses affected by the floods on Monday 25th June 2007.

Flood helpline

The Sheffield Business Floodline has been established through a joint effort between Creative Sheffield, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Business Link South Yorkshire. The Sheffield Business helpline will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday until further notice. The number is 0800 915 6913. Recovery Fund

Yorkshire Forward is investing up to £1 million recovery funding to help businesses in Yorkshire that have been affected by flooding. A small business recovery scheme will be set up to provide up to £2,500 per company for immediate recovery needs. Emergency Meeting

An emergency meeting has been called to assist Sheffield manufacturers affected by the flooding. The meeting will take place at 4.30pm on Tuesday 3rd July at the English Institute of Sport on Coleridge Road. To book a place see the following article in the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce website:
