Flood advice and support

In response to the effects of flooding on 25th June 2007, several support services have been put in place.

Residents helpline

Sheffield City Council has set up a ‘Humanitarian Assistance Centre’ (HAC) offering free advice and information based at First Point at Howden House on Union Street, it's open 08.30 – 5.30 Monday to Friday and no appointment is necessary, or you can email firstpoint@sheffield.gov.uk

The HAC helpline 0800 915 6912 is open 7am to 11pm until further notice.

Business helpline

The City Council has launched a dedicated business helpline to deliver advice and information for Sheffield businesses of all sizes and sectors who have been affected by the flooding.

The Sheffield Business helpline 0800 915 6913 will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday until further notice.
