EVENT POSTPONEMENT NOTICE
This weekend’s Abbeyfield Park Multicultural Festival due to take place in Abbeyfield Park, Burngreave, Sheffield on
Sunday the 8th of July 2007
has now been postponed due to serious concerns over health and safety on site.
The adverse weather conditions and flooding of the last two weeks has left significant parts of the site waterlogged. This meant that the organisers, Green City Action, in consultation with senior staff from Sheffield City Council Parks and Countryside, were left with no choice but to postpone the festival this weekend despite the gradually improving weather forecast.
We apologise for any inconvenience and are in the process of rescheduling this event for a Sunday in August. All enquires please call 0114 244 0353.
