Elderly residents gardening service

GCA (Green City Action) are pleased to announce the launch of their elderly residents gardening service. Starting in March they will be allocating some of their Green City Stewards time to helping elderly people look after their gardens.

If you are over 65 years old and in need of some assistance managing your garden then contact GCA on (0114) 244 0353. GCA guarantee to respond to your call within 7 working days.

For the rest of the residents in the BNDFC area GCA have a free gardening advice and consultancy service. So if you currently possess a jungle or wasteland that you would like to transform, you too can ring (0114) 244 0353 and GCA will respond within 7 working days.

They may not get to everybody at once so please be patient – GCA will come out and see you all.
