Green City Action was winner of the Community Award at this year's Sheffield Telegraph Environment Awards sponsored by E-on.

The event was held at The Magna Centre with BBC weatherman Paul Hudson presenting the awards. In his speech Paul said, “GCA received more nominations than any other group here tonight."

The award was in recognition of the Deliver it Green team’s hard work on Burngreave’s Parks, green spaces and wastelands. Staff and trustees were present at the dinner event.
