Are you full of great ideas but never do anything about it?
Do you want to make a difference in your community?
Then Burngreave UnLtd is here to help!
As part of a new drive to spread the word about the great opportunities available through UnLtd in Burngreave, the UnLtd team will be holding a funding afternoon to give five young people between the ages of 11 and 25 a chance to win a £1000 cash award.
Come along and pitch your ideas to the team at the BNDC Information Shop on Spital hill, between 2 – 5pm on Wednesday 29th August 2007.
The UnLtd will also be available to speak to at the Abbeyfield Park Festival on Sunday 2nd September.
Based at Forum house on Spital hill, UnLtd in partnership with BNDC (Burngreave New Deal for Communities), helps budding Social Entrepreneurs* both young and old. We do this by providing advice, training, cash awards and other types of support to individuals, to run and develop their projects.
If the following is a true description of yourself, then we want to hear from you:
Do you have an idea that will benefit a community in Burngreave?
Do you need an UnLtd award to make it succeed?
Does the project give you a chance to develop your skills?
Are you highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic, are visionary and have a ‘can do’ attitude?
