All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, These posts are only available to residents living within the Burngreave New Deal for Communities (BNDFC) area – With postcodes starting S3 9 and S4 7 and you must be able to provide evidence of home address and be currently unemployed or working less than 16 hours. Grade/Salary: Meets National Minimum Wage
Hours: 37 Hours per week – flexible depending on work programme
Temporary: 1 year contract
We are looking for 4 new apprentice workers to form part of the Activity Sheffield’s Burngreave team. This is an exciting opportunity for 4 people living in the BNDFC area. The apprentices will be required to complete a programme of training, which may include college courses supported with on the job training, enabling the successful applicants to develop the skills, qualifications and experience to become competent in the specific area of work by the end of the 1-year training programme.
While we welcome those with an interest in sports/ physical activity/play/administration we are particularly looking for applicants who have a personal commitment to developing sports/ physical activity/play within Burngreave and who can demonstrate the following personal qualities:

Ability to work as part of a team
Flexible approach to working to meet community needs
