Senior Practitioners

These are challenging and rewarding opportunities to play an instrumental role in developing a high quality service within our specialist fostering projects. Your key focus will be on recruiting, training, assessing, supporting and supervising foster carers and you must have a proven track record of relevant skills. We have been successful in recruiting black carers into the service, and you’ll bring a good understanding of the needs of black and ethnic minority foster carers, and looked after children. The Bradford post will initially be based at Sheffield and require travel between projects in the two cities. As our services develop, it is envisaged that you will be based within a growing team in Bradford. P/T Fostering Outreach Worker

  • Sheffield 18 hours £15,825 – £20,235 pro rata

This is an interesting and varied role to support children/young people in foster care and birth children of foster carers and will include helping to engage them in recreational activities, providing classroom support and organising group or mentoring support. Qualified Sessional Social Workers (Foster Carer Assessment)

  • £1,500 per completed assessment

Foster Care NCH requires qualified social workers with experience and established skills in assessing foster carers using the BAAF Form F format. We’re looking for individuals to work on a casual basis in the following areas: North East England including North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire and the North Midlands. Foster Carers

Foster Care NCH provides well-supported foster placements for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 17, and we are now looking for more foster carers throughout the North East and Yorkshire.
