Adventure playgrounds

Dear Messenger

I am writing about two subjects. Firstly, the news that the Ellesmere Out of School Project is being forced to close due to lack of funding and the article about the sale of the Sutherland Road playground made it seem sensible to suggest that the money could be used to run a similar project based at Pitsmoor Adventure Playground. Highfield Adventure playground run an out of school club very successfully and we could have the same success here. Also, from the park on Catherine Street I spotted a painting of a unicorn on the side of the end house on Brotherton Street. Do any local residents know how it came to be there?
