News in brief

Members needed

BNDfC are re-establishing the Strategy Group covering the health theme.

This group has the important task of steering the future direction of the health theme and monitoring BNDfC funded projects.

Membership of the group is made up of:

  • Two board members (one has to be a community representative)

  • Two residents selected from the Theme Focus Group or wider community

  • Two representatives from the voluntary, community or faith sector

  • Two representatives from the statutory/mainstream organisations and/or business sector

We would like to hear from anyone interested in taking up one of these positions.

If you are interested in hearing more about the role of the health theme strategy group and what membership involves, please come to the health theme meeting on 6th March at St Peter’s at 6pm or ring Sandra Greatorex on 292 0461.
