A New Deal for Burngreave

BNDfC
Dear Resident

I would just like to take a couple of lines to introduce myself to you. My name is Alison Reid and I have been with Burngreave New Deal for Communities Partnership for a couple of weeks now as the Communication Manager.

Community Safety

Have you been a victim of crime, or do you know someone who has? Do you want to help make your community safe? Do you have a community neighbourhood watch scheme in your area?

Partnership Board Meeting

A summary of the minutes from the Partnership Board Meeting of Wednesday, 26 April 2006.

Theme Meetings

Details of the theme meetings for June 2006.

Forum House

In January 2006 Forum House was in receivership. The receiver was looking to sell the property and it was suggested that the market rate could be in excess of £750k. BNDfC negotiated with the receivers and offered £450k, which would come from the money already allocated for the development of Spital Hill through the Transformational Projects.

Refugee Day 2006

Help celebrate the enormous contribution refugees make to Burngreave. There will be entertainment for all the family including performers, stalls, dancing and food and information and advice for refugees.

Adam’s Design Success

Adam Deeley, a 15-year-old student at Firth Park Secondary school, has just completed a two week placement at MM Design, a leading graphic design agency in Sheffield.
