Kurdish Centre reopens

In January the Kurdish Community Centre, at 163 Verdon Street, reopened under new management. We are open 10am–2pm Monday to Thursday. English classes every Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm.

We offer advice and support about immigration issues, accommodation, employment and benefits. We have free internet access and all communities are welcome.

There will be a public meeting to adopt a new constitution and elect a management committee, on Sunday 30th April at 3–6pm at Verdon Recreation Centre. Nominations will close at 4pm. Refreshments provided.
