New Deal confirmed that the new building planned for Pitsmoor Adventure Playground is the only project put on hold due to budget cuts.
Following the announcement last month that this year New Deals will get less money, they have asked all projects to make savings. They told the Messenger:
“It is not our intention to impose cuts on any project but they have been asked to make savings where they can, including New Deal internal projects.
“At present the Adventure Playground is not included in the spending plans for this year, though the Partnership Board will review priorities regularly and, if appropriate, new projects will be brought forward.”
