Burngreave Sports Network (BSN) and Netherthorpe and Upperthorpe Young People’s Project (NUYPP) are seeking skilful, determined and enthusiastic young footballers to be part of new under 14 and under 16 teams and represent that local talent is out there.
On Thursdays BSN and Sheffield Futures are running football sessions for all local young people aged 13–19. “We have at least 25 young people attending and they are extremely active, some play for teams and for some it’s just a hobby. We are looking to develop a football team out of this session,” said Ghamdan Asan’ani (BSN coach). The sessions are from 7.45pm until 8.45pm Fir Vale Sports Centre. Everybody is welcome regardless of ability.
