One of the highlights of the Firshill Junior and Infant school calendar is their yearly summer fête.
Held in the infant school on Orphanage Road, the fête attracts parents and children from the school and the surrounding area.
At this year’s event there was a buzz of activity as people spilled in through the gates. Parents and children were getting involved with running the event, offering book stalls, second-hand clothing, food, raffle tickets, bouncy castles and face painting. Also on offer were football and cricket training which were held in the sports facility.
It seemed that an enjoyable time was had by all who attended this year’s Firshill school summer event.
