The approval of the Masterplan in May was not the end of the journey, just the beginning. As promised, the Council are now setting up project groups which will be involved in putting the plans into action.
The Area Panel are hosting two community conferences in July to update people on the Masterplan, discuss the role and structure of the project groups and then set them up. The Council stated:
“We want to make sure local Communities are at the heart of the >regeneration process.The project group for Page Hall will help the Area >Panel produce a set of regeneration proposals for the area, the other >project groups will mainly be responsible for helping to implement the >Masterplan proposals that have already been agreed.The project groups and the Area Panel will be responsible for producing reports which will >go to the Council for consideration.”
