The Burngreave Sports Project in association with Pitsmoor Adventure Playground is working to create Burngreave’s very first girls’ football team, Pitsmoor Girls. Trained by an FAqualified female coach, they will compete in the new Sheffield and Hallamshire Girls’ League starting in September.
“We have some girls already training, but we know there are many more talented players who we need to make our team a success. Training is at Firs Hill Sports and Arts Facility (behind Firs Hill School) every Saturday, 1.30–2.30pm. Team trials will be on Saturday 4th September – we look forward to seeing you there!”
