A special launch event at the BNDfC Information Shop on Spital Hill marked the start of Burngreave’s newest bus routes.
The two new services, B1/B2 and D1, improving transport in and around Burngreave as well as linking Burngreave to Meadowhall, the Sheffield Airport Business Park and the new manufacturing park in Waverley, are now up and running.
The Burngreave bus projects are being run by Sheffield Community Transport. South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive has designed the service and provided funding along with BNDfC, Objective 1 and Sheffield City Council.
