Everyone has something to say about Health and local Health Services, but is anyone listening?
Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Forums are now established all over England. They play a vital role in making sure patients’ and the public’s views are heard and acted upon by all those making decisions about health.
They are not just “talking shops”. By taking part in your local PPI Forum, and encouraging others to get involved, you can:
watch over the quality of local healthcare
shape decisions that affect health in your community
be part of a growing national network
If you are interested in joining one of our Sheffield Forums, please contact the Commission for Patient & Public Involvement on 0113 227 2400 or our local Forum Support Organisation on 0114 292 2450.
