Earl Marshal strikes back

After good form in preseason games, Earl Marshal’s start to the season has been disappointing. They put all that behind them in the cup trophy by beating previously unbeaten Dronfield, 13–7, in an entertaining home game at Petre Street.

It was a very impressive performance by Earl Marshal and hopefully they can continue in the same way.

Burngreave Saints

Burngreave Saints are proud to have our first female squad member – Sheridan Betts, who plays for the under 7s. She is a great asset to the squad, can run with the ball and takes a mean penalty. Sheridan has been into football for a couple of years and also likes playing on her computer. We welcome boys and girls to our squad.

Rob and Dennis (manager and coach respectively) would like to thank people for their support. We have also played some friendly games against some stronger teams.

New football squads

BSN is developing a Burngreave boys 14–16 soccer squad. We are also starting a 14 years and above Burngreave Ladies Soccer Team.

Kit, training and equipment will be provided.
