For over five years volunteers have run the Burngreave Sports Network, organising events like the Mile Run and the Festive Party. Their commitment to sports and other activities has resulted in the creation of several community teams.
The Network now has two part-time workers to support the planning and delivery of future activities. The posts are funded by New Deal and line managed by BCAT. Working in co-operation with existing sports providers and the community, we aim to ensure the needs of residents are met.
