Attempted Murder

An 18-year old man was shot three times with a shotgun on Earl Marshall Drive at about 11.45pm on 27th April. He received injuries to his lower abdomen and back, and the police are treating the crime as attempted murder. A second shooting followed, assumed to be in response to the first. Police have made some arrests, but not charged anyone so far. They believe the crimes to be part of a turf war between rival drug dealers. Anyone with information about the shooting should contact Attercliffe CID on 296 4364. Another shooting on Earsham Street on 27th March is thought to be unrelated to the Earl Marshall Drive incident. The victim is in danger of losing his arm.
