It’s Burngreave Jim, but not as we know it!

Dear Messenger

“It’s Burngreave Jim, but not as we know it!”

The Masterplan for Burngreave is very confusing. Many people I speak to don’t realise the extent of demolition that is being proposed. An example of this is Spital Hill. The only building to be saved is Sorby House! I say reverse the plans, refurbish Spital Hill and demolish Sorby House.

I dream of a day when local government realise the best plans are made not by community consultation (involving a private firm of consultants from Leeds) but by community involvement.
